Overview:
Deliver Calibration, Quality, and Testing support/control for the department. Responsibilities encompass the following tasks. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Demonstrates the ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight and shows initiative
  • Contributes to the ongoing enhancement of the calibration quality and testing department
  • Provides assistance across manufacturing, Calibration, Quality & Testing departments as needed
  • Offers advanced training and support to colleagues and peers
  • Capably interprets technical documentation from manuals to facilitate equipment setup and calibration
  • Produces outputs that adhere to company documentation and quality benchmarks
  • Prepares comprehensive reports as required
  • Completes Facility Test Matrix Documents
  • Identifies optimal methods and procedures for documenting processes related to Calibration Quality and Testing in collaboration with various manufacturing departments
  • Exhibits strong mechanical aptitude and a clear understanding of pneumatic schematics, piping and instrument diagrams, mechanical drawings, and BOMs
  • Highly proficient in pneumatic installation and troubleshooting, Stainless Steel Tube bending, PFA Tube Bending and flaring, and general mechanical troubleshooting
  • Possesses a solid electrical aptitude
  • Easily interprets electrical schematics and symbols with a clear understanding of troubleshooting electrical issues encountered
  • Previous experience in assembling and/or fabricating electrical assemblies and wiring a wide range of electrical components/instruments
  • Working knowledge and capability to test and troubleshoot AC power circuits and analog/digital I/O circuits
  • Experience with HMI's and Tool interface screens for startup, calibration, and troubleshooting of systems
  • Capable of exercising discretion and independent judgment while promptly escalating situations that exceed responsibility and expertise.
  • Facilitates equipment testing, troubleshooting/debugging, and repair of complex system issues
  • Collaborates with manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure quality assurance and control are maintained with every product
  • Ensures that Quality and Calibration testing requirements are fulfilled, FTM is completed, and any deviations are properly authorized on assigned projects
  • Able to engage in a team-oriented environment where assistance may be provided to adjacent departments and sections (Electrical Assembly, Mechanical Assembly, Engineering, Quality, and Calibration Testing)
  • Capable of interacting with a diverse group of management, engineers, and technical personnel, whether internal or external customers
  • Excels in time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, demonstrating exceptional customer service abilities
  • Prioritizes tasks in alignment with manufacturing requirements and Manager feedback
  • Engages in various tasks as assigned QUALIFICATIONS
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Electro-Mechanical problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, engineering drawings, Schematics, and P&ID's
  • Proficient in performing advanced mathematical calculations
  • Capable of reading and understanding testing instruments
  • Skilled in using mechanical or electrical inspection tools, instruments, and devices
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to effectively communicate before groups of co-workers/employees
  • Willing to support a flexible work schedule, including shift changes when necessary Education/Experience:
  • 5+ years of Electro-Mechanical troubleshooting experience preferred
  • 5+ years of Field Service-related experience preferred
  • Associate's degree or equivalent technical qualification in electrical/mechanical engineering or physical sciences
  • Familiarity with AX and Bluestar systems is preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the workday
