Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Clinical Support Specialist for our bustling OBGYN/Specialties Department. As integral members of the clinical care team, Clinical Support Specialists collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow and provide assistance as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage efficient patient flow within the department.
- Assist clinical staff with department-specific tasks based on training.
- Maintain non-pharmaceutical supplies and equipment to support clinical operations.
- Address a variety of patient care responsibilities, considering the physical and emotional needs of different patient age groups.
Clinical Support Specialists operate under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel, ensuring high standards of care.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, with potential evening rotations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, along with completion of a Certified Medical Assistant program.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- One year of experience in Medical Assisting is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer systems is essential.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are advantageous.
