We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Addiction Recovery Care, LLC. As a vital member of our System of Care, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals receiving rehabilitation services.

About the Role:

  • Monitors patients to identify any signs of distress or discomfort
  • Completes nursing encounter visits to assess patient needs and provide personalized care
  • Manages medication administration with precision and attention to detail
  • Maintains a clean and safe environment adhering to universal precautions
  • Conducts daily checks on vital signs and records patient information accurately
  • Orients patients to treatment programs and educates them on recovery principles
  • Collaborates with center nurses to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participates in staff training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Empathizes with patients from diverse backgrounds, providing emotional support and encouragement

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
  • Substance abuse experience a plus, but not mandatory
  • Valid Kentucky driver's license for frequent travel between locations
