Key Responsibilities- Assist with Daily Living Needs: Provide support with activities such as dressing, toileting, lifting, and feeding students, including those with G-tube feeding requirements.
- Classroom Assistance: Assist teachers and therapists with routine activities, follow classroom schedules, and help students complete educational goals and objectives.
- Documentation and Data Collection: Document student performance via basic data collection and maintain accurate records.
- Positive Behavior Support: Follow Positive Behavior Support Plans for students who have them.
- Environmental Maintenance: Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment, including wiping and disinfecting classroom surfaces, equipment, and materials.
- Transportation and Accompaniment: Assist students on/off vehicles during arrival/dismissal and transport students to designated classrooms.
- Specialty Class Accompaniment: Accompany and assist students in specialty classes, such as swimming, horticulture, art, physical education, and music.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Clearances: Ability to obtain proper clearances for Acts 34, 114, and 151 (Criminal, Child Abuse, Federal Criminal).
- Employment Eligibility: Meets all Federal requirements for US employment.
