Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Aide to provide care and support to individuals with mental health and intellectual disabilities in a group residential setting. As a Direct Support Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents, providing assistance with daily living tasks, and promoting their independence and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, bathing, dressing, and light housekeeping
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Monitor and redirect residents as needed to ensure their safety and well-being
  • Assist residents with medication management and administration
  • Document resident progress and report any concerns to supervisors
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health and intellectual disabilities
  • Current Physical/TB screening and CPR/First Aid certification
  • PA State Criminal Background check
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
