Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Service Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Development and Implementation
    • Develop, communicate, enforce, and monitor effective Service Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Department Management
    • Manage department goals and budgets.
  • Business Development
    • Develop business with existing and new customers through promotional programs, customer visits, and networking.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Submit all service warranty paperwork and claims on time.
  • Team Leadership
    • Schedule and assign jobs and work areas to employees in the Service Department according to their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Technical school certificate or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a service department working as a technician.
    • Previous management or shop foreman experience is strongly preferred.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Ability to lead and manage employees.
    • Solid parts and machinery knowledge.
    • Excellent customer service and selling skills.
  • Physical Requirements
    • Ability to lift, manipulate, and move items weighing upwards of 50 lbs. repeatedly.
    • Exposure to dust, fumes, gases, and chemicals.
    • Regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
    • Requires good manual dexterity.
