Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

Planet Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in a new and challenging setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Respiratory Therapist with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
