Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in our Emergency Room setting. As a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and gain valuable experience in a new and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in the Emergency Room setting, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and airway management.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve their condition.
  • Administer medications as ordered and document patient responses.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Maine.
  • One to three years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an Emergency Room setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment as needed.
