About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team at Duke Health. As a key member of our Patient Revenue Management Organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and complete processing of patient accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze insurance coverage and benefits to ensure timely reimbursement
  • Obtain all necessary authorizations and referrals
  • Facilitate communication with patients, physicians, and insurance carriers
  • Resolve insurance claim rejections and denials
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in hospital access, physician office, or billing and collections
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
