Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at UCHealth Memorial Hospital North. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in performing clinical diagnostic studies and evaluations of cellular material from all body sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine screening of GYN and non-GYN specimens, reporting results and documenting daily workload records.
  • Process specimens for analysis according to specifications related to the type of specimen.
  • Assist with the collection and processing of fine needle aspiration specimens.
  • Perform quality control assessment, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Serve as a consultant to laboratory staff and other clinical staff as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field and graduate of an accredited Cytotechnologist program.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: Certification as a Cytotechnologist (CT) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). State licensure if required by law.
  • Minimum Experience: None Required.
