About the Department:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the financial oversight of sponsored research initiatives
  • Preparing and submitting proposals for funding opportunities
  • Ensuring adherence to Cost Accounting Standards
  • Assisting in budget forecasting and strategic financial planning
  • Addressing fiscal management issues and providing financial guidance to faculty
Minimum Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field

Essential Qualifications:
  • Expertise in financial and standard software applications
  • Strong time management capabilities
  • Understanding of accounting principles and Cost Accounting Standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain and oversee accounting records
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft Financials and Research Administrative Systems
