Job Summary

The Parts Sales Representative - Inside is a key member of our team at Palmer Trucks, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of our products and services, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing solutions to their parts needs.
  • Parts Sales: Work with customers to identify and recommend the right parts for their trucks, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, including stocking and organizing the showroom floor as needed.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, mechanics, and peers to ensure seamless parts ordering and delivery.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, strong product knowledge, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a warehouse environment.
