Job Title: Pharmacy Manager

Option Care Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and direct pharmacy services to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Supervise and evaluate the quality of patient care provided by pharmacy staff.
  • Manage daily activities to ensure effective operations and communications.
  • Direct the activities of the pharmacy department and schedule work activities to meet patient needs.
  • Develop and mentor staff through onboarding, open communication, training, and development opportunities.
  • Oversee product purchasing, inventory, budget, and equipment management.
  • Assist the General Manager in preparing and implementing operating and expenditure budgets.
  • Provide support to sales professionals and the General Manager by speaking knowledgeably about available services.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Current, active Pharmacy license as granted by the State Board of Pharmacy.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in a clean room or infusion pharmacy setting.
  • At least 3 years of experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, and directing staff.
  • At least 2 years of experience planning, developing, and managing departmental expense and capital budgets.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-graduate residency program in clinical pharmacy services.
  • Board certification in Nutrition Support Pharmacy, Pharmacotherapy, or other clinical pharmacy practice area.
  • Experience managing inventory and logistics.
