Position Overview:
As a Finance Trainee at Creative Financial Staffing, you will immerse yourself in the core of our financial operations, collaborating with a skilled team of finance and accounting experts. This internship is designed to provide you with substantial responsibilities and the chance to make meaningful contributions in a vibrant and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As an intern, you will engage directly in the accounting processes related to real estate investments. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, including:

  • Assisting in the preparation of SEC financial statements.
  • Conducting monthly accounting reconciliations.
  • Preparing and reviewing schedules that support our monthly NAV filings.
  • Assisting in the evaluation of property-level reports from our fund administrator.
  • Participating in and supporting periodic Tax and SOX meetings.
  • Helping with the preparation of schedules that back our SEC filings.
  • Contributing to the preparation of special reports and other ad hoc projects.

Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates who possess:

  • A strong passion for finance and accounting.
  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail, with the capacity to interpret and analyze intricate financial data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with a willingness to learn and adapt to new software swiftly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration in a team-oriented setting.
  • A proactive and self-driven attitude, demonstrating a commitment to taking ownership of tasks.
