Job Responsibilities

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  1. Utility Duties
  • Ensure proper levels of detergent, rinse agents, and water temperatures throughout your shift, adhering to established procedures for operating the dish machine.
  • Maintain a steady supply of clean dishes in the service area, kitchen, and line.
  • Keep all kitchen and service area floors clean and free of debris.
  • Thoroughly clean all kitchen equipment and service areas.
Food Preparation
  • Prepare all food items in accordance with Parkhurst Culinary Gold Standards, including washing and cutting vegetables, measuring ingredients, and pre-cooking various proteins before service.
  • Stock workstations with necessary ingredients and supplies.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols.
General Responsibilities
  • Follow the uniform dress code and maintain high standards of personal hygiene.
  • Uphold Parkhurst Dining's guest satisfaction standards, including our Hospitality Imperatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow team members and assist others as needed.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position include:

  • Standing and/or walking for the entirety of the shift.
  • Occasional lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent lifting of items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Working in environments where temperatures may exceed 90 degrees.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position starts at $15.25, with an increase after a specified period of employment.
