Overview:

Role Summary:
  • Accountable for overseeing and facilitating the Interim Raw Material Ordering Process for a major beverage manufacturer.
  • Key duties involve managing vendor partnerships and serving as the intermediary between suppliers, the company, and essential stakeholders to guarantee the uninterrupted supply of raw materials.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and facilitate the interim raw material ordering process.
  • Verify receipt of raw material purchase requisitions.
  • Confirm and track purchase requisition conversions to purchase orders.
  • Generate and submit purchase orders to suppliers as necessary.
  • Ensure suppliers acknowledge receipt of purchase orders and confirm delivery schedules.
  • Assist in communicating any delivery delays or material shortages to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and ensure timely completion of goods receipts.
  • Manage discrepancies and changes in raw material purchase orders.
  • Support invoicing and address defective material concerns.
  • Provide assistance in resolving conflicts between the company and suppliers.
  • Develop and implement best practices to meet business requirements. Keep stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and issues.
  • Track and report on monthly raw material forecasts for internal visibility.
  • Escalate supply continuity issues to senior management when necessary.
  • Offer backup support to procurement operations team members as required.
  • Lead process development and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Engage in special project assignments as needed.
Required Skills:
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Intermediate to advanced analytical capabilities.
