Role Summary:
- Accountable for overseeing and facilitating the Interim Raw Material Ordering Process for a major beverage manufacturer.
- Key duties involve managing vendor partnerships and serving as the intermediary between suppliers, the company, and essential stakeholders to guarantee the uninterrupted supply of raw materials.
- Oversee and facilitate the interim raw material ordering process.
- Verify receipt of raw material purchase requisitions.
- Confirm and track purchase requisition conversions to purchase orders.
- Generate and submit purchase orders to suppliers as necessary.
- Ensure suppliers acknowledge receipt of purchase orders and confirm delivery schedules.
- Assist in communicating any delivery delays or material shortages to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and ensure timely completion of goods receipts.
- Manage discrepancies and changes in raw material purchase orders.
- Support invoicing and address defective material concerns.
- Provide assistance in resolving conflicts between the company and suppliers.
- Develop and implement best practices to meet business requirements. Keep stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and issues.
- Track and report on monthly raw material forecasts for internal visibility.
- Escalate supply continuity issues to senior management when necessary.
- Offer backup support to procurement operations team members as required.
- Lead process development and problem-solving initiatives.
- Engage in special project assignments as needed.
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
- Intermediate to advanced analytical capabilities.
