Job Title: Ready Mix Driver

Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. is seeking a skilled Ready Mix Driver to join our team in Bath, New York.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious driver to deliver ready mix concrete to job sites while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Ready Mix Concrete: Safely transport ready mix concrete to job sites in a timely manner, adhering to safety and operational guidelines.
  • Maintain Vehicle: Ensure the vehicle is clean, organized, and safe for operation, performing minor roadside repairs as needed.
  • Inspect Mix and Load: Visually inspect the mix, slump, and verify load size according to ticket specifications.
  • Customer Service: Work closely with customers to achieve maximum customer satisfaction, responding to their needs and concerns.
  • Dispatch and Routing: Collaborate with dispatch to ensure the quickest and safest routes to jobs, adhering to Department of Transportation regulations.
Requirements
  • Commercial Driver's License: Possess a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License.
  • Vehicle Experience: Have a minimum of one year of experience operating a commercial vehicle with a multi-speed transmission.
  • Driving Record: Maintain a good driving record, adhering to company safety standards.
  • Medical Card: Possess a valid medical card.
  • Availability: Be available to work six days a week (Monday-Saturday) and occasionally on Sunday, adhering to Department of Transportation regulations.
