Job Summary

As a Lead Maintenance Engineer with Summit Hospitality Group, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring the overall operations of the maintenance department. This role requires a strong leader who can take charge and interact with management, guests, and staff on a daily basis. You will be responsible for exemplifying the Hotel's Culture and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in hotels, restaurants, apartment, or commercial properties
• Computer literate and skilled at recognizing potential safety hazards and security problems
• Excellent people engagement skills and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multi-task, delegate tasks, and perform tasks in the absence of the Chief Engineer
• Command of the English language, including speaking, writing, and reading
• Flexible availability for AM/PM, weekends, and holidays
• Customer service oriented and able to maintain inventory controls and make orders when necessary
• Ability to coordinate and plan weekly, monthly, and yearly tasks and projects
• CPO certification or willingness to take classes to be recertified

Working Conditions

• Must be able to stand up and move about the facility for the majority of the shift
• Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently, and squeezing and overhead reaching occasionally
• Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on a frequent basis
• Must be able to frequently handle objects and equipment to maintain the facility
• Must have a valid Driver's License
