Position Summary: This role entails the setup, upkeep, and management of the bar(s), which may also involve assisting with private functions as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the initial setup of the assigned bar, ensuring all liquor bottles are attractively displayed and supplies are organized.
- Receive and fulfill drink orders from guests or wait staff, accurately processing transactions through the register system.
- Create an inviting atmosphere that promotes sales while maintaining cleanliness in the bar area to meet health department standards.
- At the conclusion of your shift, ensure the bar area is cleaned and organized, including the breakdown of the bartender station and the cleaning of all utensils and tools.
- Support the preparation and restocking of garnish items and order additional supplies to maintain sufficient inventory for guest service.
- Adhere to all relevant alcohol service regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Possession of a valid TEAM, TIP, or TITLE 4 certification card.
- Valid County Food Handler Card must be on file and available for each event.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of all pre-employment documentation and successful background check.
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, along with familiarity with standard drink recipes and bar terminology.
- At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume bartending environment or equivalent experience.
Additional Skills:
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach in confined spaces.
- Capacity to remain stationary for extended periods, up to four hours.
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to operate in varying temperature conditions and around high noise levels.
