Job Description

SNF Payroll & HR is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Payroll Specialist. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-level customer service and payroll support to our clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of payroll files for processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all payroll-related tasks are completed and deliver and transmit the execution of the client payroll file(s).
  • Assist with client training of payroll software with newly implemented facilities, and continued support of client's payroll processing procedures.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all payroll-related issues, including full-cycle payroll processing, garnishments, direct deposit, manual check processing, new hires, terminations, timekeeping systems, and standard payroll reporting.
  • Review all payroll(s) prior to submission for notable discrepancies and communicate irregularities to the client prior to finalizing the payroll.
  • Effective communication skills with our clients and internal team, including email, voicemail, or person-to-person communication.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience preferably on the service provider side.
  • iSolved experience preferred but not required.
  • General knowledge of computer operating systems such as Google Sheets, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • High standards for customer service and the ability to self-manage tasks.
  • Must have a basic understanding of the inner workings of automated payroll software.

Salary and Benefits
  • $25-$29 per hour depending on experience.
