Clinical Decision Support Specialist

Texas Health Resources is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Decision Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Clinical Decision Support Department, you will play a critical role in delivering results-driven projects that support growth and value to Texas Health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, test, implement, and maintain applications and related information technologies.
  • Provide consulting services on how to integrate information technologies into clinical and business processes and the effective application of industry and organizational technology standards.
  • Collaborate with teams and clinicians across Texas Health to support key clinical performance and outcomes' indicators.
  • Bridge the gap between technology and patient care by maintaining, optimizing, and developing decision support interventions such as evidence-based order sets, practice advisories, and health maintenance alerts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, clinical discipline, or related field (Preferred)
  • 7 years of relevant work experience with no degree (Required) Or, 5 years or relevant experience with an Associate's degree (Required) Or, 3 year of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree (Required)
  • Epic Proficiency and/or Certification (Required)
