Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at Pep Boys. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, identify repair needs, and communicate with customers to ensure their vehicles are properly maintained.
  • Work closely with our service team to ensure seamless communication, efficient workflow, and high-quality repairs.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, promoting additional services and products to customers.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, technical skills, and industry developments to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Collaborate with our management team to achieve business objectives, improve processes, and drive customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • One year of related experience in the automotive service environment.
  • One year of sales experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to frequently lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time.
  • Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting.
  • Climb up and down ladders to retrieve and stock merchandise.
  • Communicate effectively in person, by telephone, or by using telecommunications equipment.
  • Enters and locates information on computer.
  • Presents information to small and large groups.
  • Visually verifies information, often in small print.
  • Safely operates a motor vehicle.
