This is a travel position with a duration of 26 weeks, working 40 hours per week, with 8-hour night shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations and administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.
- Position patients and equipment, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
- Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, and monitor video displays to adjust density or contrast.
- Monitor patients during examinations, ensuring their safety and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
- Produce diagnostic images, report important information to physicians, and update patient records.
- Organize daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitor radiographic supplies.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.
