Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Community Liaison Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with community members, promoting our services, and providing support to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:
• Meet and greet guests, providing them with information about our services and resources.
• Serve as a liaison between guests and our staff, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
• Answer questions regarding our resources, hours, and procedures.
• Gather feedback from the community, using it to improve our operations and programming.
• Maintain a positive and welcoming environment, working closely with other facility partners.
• Conduct outreach to the surrounding community, promoting our services and programs.
• Be responsive to community concerns and questions, documenting them when necessary.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual reports, highlighting guest usage, best practices, challenges, and needs.
• Identify and engage community members as volunteer partners, assisting with facility operations.
• Attend program staff meetings, agency meetings, and on-site and off-site trainings as required.
• Ensure a safe and alcohol/drug-free environment.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, psychology, sociology, or related field OR four years' experience working with culturally diverse populations, including co-occurring diagnosis and homelessness.
Fluent in English and Spanish is preferred. Ability to speak effectively before groups, residents/participants, and family members. Ability to write and document legibly. Familiarity with 12-Step programs and/or philosophy and Trauma-Informed Care. Current CPR and First Aid Certifications. Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work demands. Valid government-issued picture ID. Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year.
