Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Event Staff/Security Professional to join our dynamic team at BEST Crowd Management. As an Event Staff/Security Professional, you will be responsible for a diverse range of duties, combining event staff responsibilities with security tasks to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for event attendees.

Responsibilities:

  • Event Setup and Execution: Assist with event setup, including the arrangement of equipment, signage, and other necessary materials.
  • Security and Access Control: Monitor access points and conduct thorough security checks to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure the safety of attendees.
  • Customer Service and Support: Provide friendly and helpful customer service by assisting attendees with inquiries, directions, and general event information.
  • Crowd Management and Control: Collaborate with event staff and security personnel to maintain a safe and organized environment, including controlling entry and exit points and ensuring proper flow of attendees.
  • Incident Response and Emergency Procedures: Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, following established protocols.
  • Event Rules and Regulations: Monitor event areas to enforce event rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Conflict Resolution and Customer Complaints: Handle and resolve attendee complaints or conflicts in a calm and professional manner.
  • Company Policies and Procedures: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines to deliver a high standard of service and security.

Requirements:

  • Age Requirement: Be at least 18 years old (age requirements may vary depending on local regulations).
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with event attendees.
  • Observational and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong observational and problem-solving skills to identify and address potential security risks or issues.
  • High-Pressure Situations: Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and handle challenging individuals.
  • Availability and Flexibility: Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
  • Physical Fitness and Stamina: Physical fitness and stamina to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods.
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check.
