Job Title: Diesel Mechanic - Full Time Position

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Ryder System. As a Senior Level Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, basic diagnostics and repairs, and complex mechanical and electronic problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform standard vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks
  • Diagnose complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer tools
  • Complete complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
  • Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints and assign tasks
  • Perform facility maintenance duties and other support tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Three (3) years or more relevant work experience, preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty and medium duty equipment
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply knowledge of computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.
  • Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire
