About the Role

As a Substation EIT/Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in our team's success, working collaboratively with experienced engineers to deliver high-quality electrical substation designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and designers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop drawings and designs for electrical substations, adhering to national design standards, safety codes, and project specifications.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, analyses, reports, and designs for electrical substations and substation systems.
  • Work on designs that include one-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, substation physical layouts, material lists, conduit and cabling sizing/routing, AC and DC systems calculations and sizing, and substation grounding.
  • Prepare specifications and redlines (as-builts) drawings for construction work packages.
  • Some travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EIT/FE certification is strongly preferred.
  • Candidates without EIT/FE certification will be considered for the Coordinator role and are expected to obtain their certification for career progression.
  • Substation design experience is highly preferred.
