Job Title: Oncology Nurse Practitioner

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires expertise in patient care coordination and implementation of protocol requirements during onsite visits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and evaluate clinical study subjects
  • Assist in coordination and collection of epidemiologic, genetic, and clinical data
  • Participate in an interdisciplinary team supporting clinical evaluation and follow-up
  • Provide instruction to potential clinical study subjects and those involved in care of subjects on aspects of subject's care, treatments, and side effects
  • Monitor and oversee activities pertaining to clinical protocols such as monitoring patient recruitment
Requirements:
  • Graduate Nursing degree
  • Certifications & Licenses: Nursing License, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Certification
  • Skills: Must have oncology experience, patient care coordination, software skills (Outlook, MS Word, Excel)
Work Environment:

This role requires working closely with others, collaborating with staff on the coordination and integration of standard operating procedures among branches to facilitate the conduct of clinical treatment trials.

Deliverables:
  • Provide expertise in patient care coordination and implementation of protocol requirements during onsite visits
  • Maintain thorough and organized study documentation, including research records, phone logs, screening logs, and regulatory binders, and accurate drug accountability records
