Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Corewell Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient identification and physician orders to ensure accurate and timely imaging procedures.
  • Provide clear and concise procedural information to patients and their families, ensuring they are well-informed and prepared for each exam.
  • Acquire and document accurate patient histories, taking into account age-related factors and physical limitations.
  • Perform CT and related patient care procedures using age-appropriate methods and techniques.
  • Operate CT imaging equipment and perform quality control and quality assurance testing to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate reporting of imaging results.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience in a diagnostic imaging setting, preferably in CT scanning.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and additional CT certification within 1 year of hire.
  • Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers from The American Heart Association and/or The American Red Cross.
