Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber II to join our team at Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of water and waste disposal systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair water and waste disposal systems, including pipes, valves, and fixtures.
  • Troubleshooting: Analyze defects or malfunctions in plumbing systems and take corrective action to resolve issues.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets quality standards and is completed in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration: Work with other maintenance staff to ensure that all systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Licensure: Plumber license based on requirements set forth by the NC Board of Examiners.
  • Experience: 0-36 years of experience in a school system.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision. The ability to lift 100 lbs., stand, climb, bend, and sit is required.
