Texas Oncology is seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor (RN) to enhance our team. This role will oversee the infusion services within our Plano East Market.
About the Plano East Market:
Includes multiple facilities providing comprehensive cancer care. This is a full-time position, operating Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with no weekend or holiday shifts required.

Role of the Nurse Supervisor:
Coordinates all nursing-related activities and patient care within budgetary limits. Ensures compliance with national and organizational standards for specialty regulations. Supervises nursing personnel providing professional care to patients, recognizing their physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Upholds the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
Clinical Oversight
Manage clinical operations for all nursing support activities.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels for assigned clinics.
Maintain effective nursing staff coverage and manage operating costs within budget.
Ensure clinical operations align with organizational goals.
Monitor and assess patient satisfaction and quality assurance metrics.
Staff Development
Coordinate and implement training, in-services, and internal development programs for nursing staff.
Assist with annual performance evaluations for nursing department personnel.
Act as a mentor/preceptor, providing daily guidance to less experienced nurses.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Nurse Supervisor position will possess the following qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a BSN or MSN preferred.
Current RN state license and registration with the State Board of Nursing.
A minimum of 5 years of active nursing practice, including at least 3 years in oncology.
1 year of leadership experience preferred.
Current CPR certification required.
Current or pending oncology certification preferred.
Working Conditions:
