As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating nursing service activities during your scheduled shift. Your primary focus will be on ensuring safe, efficient, and therapeutic patient care.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage and guide nursing staff on the designated shift
* Coordinate activities of the nursing service through floor nurses
* Review nursing staffing patterns and revise the daily staff schedule as necessary
* Participate in hospital safety procedures and programs
* Evaluate and recommend changes in nursing service records
* Inform the Chief Clinical Officer or Nurse Manager of nursing activities, needs, problems, and unusual events
* Recommend the purchase of supplies and equipment required for the nursing service
* Make routine nursing service checks on staff, timecards, equipment, materials, supplies, etc.

**Requirements:**

* Registered nurse (RN) required
* Current ASL CPR Certification required
* A minimum of two years of experience in nursing
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed
* Strong written and verbal skills required
