Job Summary:

Unitedtechops is seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our Technical Operations team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarding and protecting gates, entrances, buildings, facilities, and other designated posts
  • Inspecting and recording parcels and containers being carried on or off premises
  • Guarding or inspecting property, instruments, facilities, or vehicles on company premises
  • Patrolling designated areas and notifying rounds by turning keys in the appropriate receptacle(s)
  • Protecting against and reporting any act of sabotage, destruction of, damage to, or theft of property or facilities
  • Assisting in apprehending the guilty party or parties
  • Staffing control centers as designated by the company
  • Guiding and assisting emergency medical and/or fire department personnel to areas of need

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED/equivalent
  • Valid security guard registration (Guard Card)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Must be able to work during day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays; mandatory overtime may be required based on operational need
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions
  • Must pass an FAA background check clearance
  • Industrial security experience and police/military background preferred
