We are currently seeking a Cloud Security Specialist to enhance our Cybersecurity Engineering efforts. This role will focus on advancing our Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) maturity while also engaging in various aspects of our Cyber Engineering team’s structured and unstructured data protection initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data security functions and controls.
- Oversee data loss prevention mechanisms.
- Monitor and analyze data movement across endpoints.
- Investigate data exfiltration through various channels including email, web traffic, and cloud solutions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborate with team members and other security units to assess and enhance control environments.
- Analyze system events for diagnostics, trends, and overall system health.
- Participate in incident response efforts to analyze and mitigate security incidents.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with Cloud SOC/CASB tools.
- Experience in deploying and managing cloud access security broker solutions.
- Integration experience with DLP tools and reporting systems.
- Familiarity with web proxy tools is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of network and application security, programming, and systems analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse audiences.
- Proven organizational and project management abilities.
- Background in delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, along with 2+ years of experience in information security or related technical areas.
- Relevant certifications such as Security + or SAN's are a plus.
