Position Summary
The Christian High School Science Educator is tasked with delivering exceptional and faith-integrated science instruction to secondary students. This position involves the creation and execution of a curriculum that meets state educational standards while incorporating biblical principles into everyday lessons. The Science Educator fosters an inclusive and positive learning environment, encouraging both intellectual and spiritual development among students. Key responsibilities include assessment, constructive feedback, and effective communication with parents, alongside ongoing professional growth to remain informed about educational advancements. A strong commitment to Christian values, outstanding communication abilities, and a passion for influencing students' character and academic achievements are essential for this role.
The Science Educator will report to the principal of the middle/high school, providing regular updates on curriculum initiatives, student progress, and departmental requirements. Open communication with school leadership is encouraged to enhance the educational experience. Faculty members are expected to actively participate in spiritual development activities and contribute to chapel services. All educators are called to integrate Christian values and principles throughout their teaching, promoting a holistic approach to student development.

Spiritual Qualifications Required

Professional Qualifications Required
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in science or a related field, or teaching experience through an alternative certification program
- Possess or be eligible for science teaching certification through ACSI
- Commitment to Christian values and the integration of faith within the curriculum
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
