Job Summary:

Escambia County School System is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our Special Education team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating students with communication disorders, developing and implementing individualized education plans, and collaborating with teachers and other professionals to provide comprehensive support services.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose students with communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized education plans to address communication needs
Provide direct and indirect services to students, including speech and language therapy sessions
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to provide comprehensive support services
Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress

Requirements:

Valid Alabama Teacher Certificate
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Speech/Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Alternative qualifications may be considered

Work Environment:

Available at job location and Central Office

Terms:

Five Days a Week - 187 Day Contract
