Sensor Systems Integration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Sensor Systems Integration Engineer to join our team at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL). As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the design and development of innovative networked sensor systems capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Design and integrate multi-sensor data fusion and target tracking technologies into complex systems of systems.
- Develop novel concepts and architectures for integrating new types of active and passive sensors, weapons, and multi-mission data fusion capabilities into future combat systems and military platforms.
- Define element-level interface requirements, message exchanges between systems, message data content, and performance requirements to achieve desired effects.
- Analyze networked sensor systems interfaces and recorded test data in live and simulated environments to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering and integration work.
- Experience solving complex system of systems problems.
- Proficient analytical and leadership skills.
- Theoretical background or experience in probability theory, statistical or adaptive signal processing, detection and estimation theory, information theory, data fusion, optimization theory, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Active Top Secret security clearance.
- Experience with distributed warfare systems.
- Experience with sensor and combat systems integration.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or similar programming languages for algorithm development or data analysis.

Minimum Rate: $90,000 Annually. Maximum Rate: $220,000 Annually.
