Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Part-Time Driver to join our team at LIFE Senior Services, Inc. As a Part-Time Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting clients and staff to various activities and field trips.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the bus is safe and operational
  • Drive clients and staff to designated locations, following established routes and schedules
  • Load and unload clients, ensuring proper wheelchair securement when necessary
  • Communicate with the transportation dispatcher to report any changes or issues
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the assigned bus
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's license and a clean driving record
  • CPR and basic first aid certification
  • Minimum one year of experience working with seniors or individuals with special needs
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual Spanish language skills
  • Experience transporting individuals with special mobility needs
Work Environment

The Part-Time Driver will work primarily in a company-owned vehicle, with occasional travel to various locations. The work environment will include a variety of settings, including clinics, doctor's offices, and nursing homes.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $14.65.
