This role will establish governance frameworks that evolve into a cohesive business process, aimed at optimizing resource utilization and capital efficiency for Chick-fil-A Supply and its partners.

A subsidiary of Chick-fil-A, Inc., Chick-fil-A Supply specializes in distribution services tailored to meet the specific requirements of Chick-fil-A restaurants. With consistent sales growth and increasing operational complexity, Chick-fil-A Supply is dedicated to supporting both current and future restaurant needs through innovative distribution solutions that reflect the Chick-fil-A culture of care.
This dynamic subsidiary is in its formative stages, offering a fast-paced work environment focused on launching new services nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various departments, external partners, and operational teams to identify and lead initiatives aimed at enhancing process efficiencies and reducing costs.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping workshops, and other lean methodologies across multiple distribution centers, while training leadership and promoting best practices.
- Oversee high-profile OGSM-related capability projects, keeping stakeholders informed on deliverables and timelines.
- Manage the tracking of supply chain-wide cost reduction projects, reporting progress to senior leadership and addressing any obstacles.
- Support operations by applying DMAIC and other problem-solving methodologies to achieve targets outlined in the PQDCSM scorecard.
- Utilize simulation software to assess and enhance work systems.
- Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires, introducing them to the Center of Business Excellence and essential tools for effective leadership.
- Act as the primary contact for inquiries related to capacity, process improvements, and standard time.
- Provide support for the process engineering team during the implementation of new distribution centers and capabilities.
- Collaborate with the Change Management office to ensure successful project adoption and reporting.
- Maintain a positive and proactive demeanor in all interactions, serving as a change agent focused on delivering results with a customer-centric approach.
- Develop and document lessons learned, along with best practices, to be shared across various business areas.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in business, preferably in Manufacturing or Distribution Centers.
- 3+ years of multi-site regional support with a focus on supply chain objectives.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Experience with capital projects, including review boards and integrated business planning.
- Strong financial acumen, including understanding of EBITA, ROI, IRR, GL, and P&L.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale project management and reporting.
- Familiarity with methodologies such as 5S, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent business communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Tableau or Power BI.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Change Management certification.
