We are seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater service team in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a key member of our team, you will work under the direction of a Project Engineer/Project Manager and be responsible for various tasks, including research and evaluation of data, field reviews, and preparation of detailed engineering calculations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct field reviews and assessments to gather data and information
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations and reports
- Assist with the creation and submission of technical reports, presentations, and exhibits
- Prepare hydraulic modeling and technical reports for agency review
- Prepare detailed construction drawings, including horizontal and vertical alignments, plan and profile, utility design, and rehabilitation
- Prepare construction cost estimates/quantity takeoffs
- Coordinate with internal team members, government entities, utility service providers, and subconsultants
- Manage task assignments for budget and schedule adherence
- Perform reviews of all work product for accuracy
- Outgoing, friendly, and approachable
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet project deadlines
- Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior exposure to AutoDesk Civil3D and Microsoft Office applications
