Key Responsibilities:
- • Verify insurance requirements
• Collect upfront payments, co-pays, and deductibles
• Ensure accurate demographic, financial, and advanced directive entries
• Collect non-covered fees and input data into Meditech system
• Complete registration process, including paperwork and patient bracelet assignment
• Coordinate bed assignments and maintain death books and release information to funeral homes
Requirements: A minimum high school diploma or equivalent, medical terminology skills, and relevant experience in medical office, hospital, or billing settings are required. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential for this role.
Benefits: This position offers a competitive salary of $43,000 per year, 40 hours per week with every other weekend, and great benefits and health insurance coverage starting on day one. Training is provided on a Monday-to-Friday schedule for two weeks.
