Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hospital Services Technician to join our team at Stericycle. As a Hospital Services Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our healthcare facility clients by proactively collecting and exchanging waste containers for various Stericycle programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel between customer healthcare facilities to collect and exchange waste containers for various Stericycle programs, including Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management.
  • Interact professionally with onsite customer staff to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain a rigid collection and service schedule.
  • Communicate duty status on a defined scheduled.
Requirements
  • Education equivalent to graduation from high school or GED.
  • 2+ years of related experience, customer service preferred, or the equivalent in related work experience.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and tact in providing superior customer service in a variety of settings and situations.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between customer facilities.
  • Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
  • Knowledge of computer/handheld software applications, including spreadsheets and application-based programs to track daily KPI's.
