Job Summary The Salon Operations Manager plays a crucial role in the success of Sun Tan City by leading a dedicated team to uphold the exceptional client experience. This position requires the individual to exercise discretion in managing salon operations, with a focus on supervising staff, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining salon standards. Responsibilities include overseeing staffing decisions, motivating team members to meet performance goals, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the salon.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and mentor staff to deliver outstanding client experiences. Address client concerns promptly and effectively. Maintain a positive atmosphere, especially during peak times. Foster a client-first culture by holding team members accountable for service quality. Drive performance metrics through strategic action plans. Uphold the values and mission of Sun Tan City with integrity. Communicate and delegate tasks to ensure smooth operations. Ensure the salon is clean, well-maintained, and organized. Manage staffing levels to support employee development and operational needs. Comply with applicable labor laws for all team members. Utilize operational tools to achieve excellence in salon management. Analyze financial reports to identify trends and improve performance. Conduct regular performance evaluations and set ambitious goals. Oversee ongoing sales initiatives. This role requires a commitment to a standard workweek of 40 hours. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed based on business demands. Experience Requirements: Preferred college education, though not mandatory. Required experience in management or sales. Basic proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Strong understanding of client service techniques and operational practices. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Proven leadership abilities with a focus on coaching and mentoring. Skills in team building and delegation. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Capability to bend and clean salon equipment. Ability to lift and assist with heavy items. Willingness to perform cleaning tasks as needed. Capability to maintain a clean and organized salon environment.
Compensation: $15.79 per hour
