Job Description

Morgan Engineering Systems Inc is seeking a skilled Electrical/Automation Proposal Estimator to join our team in Alliance, Ohio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed technical specifications and estimates from RFQs by calculating estimates using their knowledge of machine design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret electrical documents and schematic drawings
  • Manage vendor pricing
  • Create accurate cost estimates from start to finish
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and occasional site visits
  • Creating clearly written proposals
  • Handle contract and scope review
  • Changes in order pricing
  • Maintain good client relationships and follow-ups post-bid submission

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial estimating or relevant engineering experience
  • Experience in machine design with understanding of automated systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office Products
  • AutoCAD is a plus
  • Field service and system commissioning is a plus
