We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular ICU. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure the highest level of care and safety for our patients.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective treatment.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition to home or further care.
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- The ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong technical skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Passionate about patient care
- Minimum of two years of current RN Cardiovascular ICU experience
- Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
- Active unencumbered RN Kansas state license
- One year of Cerner experience
