Cardiovascular Registered Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Unit team. As a Cardiovascular Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure effective patient care.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements:
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Passionate about patient care.
- Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Med/Surg Cardiovascular experience.
- Graduate from a fully accredited RN program.
- Active unencumbered RN Kansas state license.
- One year of Cerner experience.
Skills/Abilities/Competencies Required:
- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all.
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise.
- Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
