Diesel Mechanic Wanted

Arnoff Moving & Storage is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Poughkeepsie, NY. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy equipment and trucks.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to achieve team goals
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a CDL
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
