About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at Delphinus Engineering. As a Pipefitter, you will play a critical role in supporting the US Navy by fabricating, installing, removing, modifying, and repairing piping and hoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate, install, remove, modify, and repair piping and hoses, including layout, templating, and targeting pipe for welding/brazing.
  • Work on P2 and P3 piping systems, ensuring steam plant cleanliness and utilizing precision measuring instruments.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience working in a shipyard/ship repair environment.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, written technical instructions, and manuals.
  • Prospective employees must be a US Citizen with a clean background and able to pass a drug screen.
  • Experience working on all classes of ships (CVN, CG, DDG, SSN) is a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalence is required.
