Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Lake Erie Corral, LLC dba Golden Corral. As a key member of our food production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality meat products for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut meat according to product specifications and time standards to optimize profit and guest satisfaction.
  • Implement and follow the buffet production system to maintain quality and shelf life compliance.
  • Rotate cut and boxed meat to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
  • Stock and arrange the Meat Cooler in accordance with approved food safety guidelines.
Cleanliness and Sanitation
  • Sanitize all surfaces between production of chicken and other meats to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Recognize and address any issues with meat quality, including stickiness, slickness, or unpleasant odors.
  • Clean and sanitize the meat room according to cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
  • Comply with local health department regulations.
Operational Excellence
  • Use administration forms to maintain an accurate inventory of meat products and determine production levels.
  • Notify the Manager of any discrepancies in product or equipment.
  • Perform opening and closing administrative procedures.
  • Properly maintain equipment according to the Equipment Maintenance manual.
  • Complete duty roster tasks as assigned.
