We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Women's Healthcare Professional to join our team at The Group for Women. As a valued member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in our busy OB/GYN practice.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong attention to detail. You will be responsible for obtaining complete patient histories, vital signs, and assisting with exams and procedures. Additionally, you will perform non-stress tests, administer injections, and maintain a safe and secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain complete patient histories and vital signs
  • Room patients and assist providers with exams
  • Assist with in-office procedures such as LEEP, colposcopies, hysteroscopic procedures, IUD insertion and removals, and Nexplanon placement
  • Perform non-stress tests
  • Administer injections
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment

Requirements:

  • EMR (AthenaNet) and OB/GYN experience are a must
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Efficiency and attention to detail
  • Solid critical thinking
  • Strong communication skills; verbal and written
  • Prioritize tasks appropriately and efficiently
  • Problem-solving skills; adaptable and flexible

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • No nights, weekends, or major holidays
  • May need to travel between offices

About Us:

The Group for Women is a well-established practice with 3 locations in the Norfolk, Downtown Norfolk, and Chesapeake area. We have 9 physicians, 3 Physician Assistants, 1 Nurse Practitioner, and 3 Certified Nurse Midwives. We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
